Today I would like to touch on areas around approaching your diet in 2023 and what advice we would give as personal trainers during our personal training sessions at EXOFIT, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. First and foremost, you shouldn't consider a 2023 diet if you're not ready to love it or/and determent for change. A simple suggestion and sentence you should think about is 'If it's not a yes, then it should be a no for now'.
That should be the willingness approach before starting a diet. Outside of food and dieting, try to find an exercise plan or personal training studio/personal trainer that will help make exercise exciting for you. It should feel like being a child again and starting a new sport for this first time. One message we always drive home at our EXOFIT personal training studio, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 is the speed of losing fat is often dependant on the size of the calorie deficit you create through lowering calories or increasing physical activity/exercise minutes.
With dieting, you don't get hungrier and hungrier, you go through phases of high and low hunger queues. So understanding this and preparing for it will help you mentally when these levels of hunger come and go. You should also actively increase the amount of fluid you intake when dieting, a great amount of the water we consume actually comes from our food so when cutting food out we need to keep an eye on our water bottles.
Dieting can make you more awake, active or alert than usual. This is a great benefit to dieting. You should also reduce the volume of exercise or the intensity of your exercise sessions when doing an aggressive diet/ eat as little calories as possible but if you're doing a moderate diet then you can do your regular exercises.
